Internationally acclaimed soprano Allegra Giagu to join Hampshire choir
A HAMPSHIRE community choir is set to join forces once more with an internationally-acclaimed soprano.
Following the success of last year’s collaboration Allegra Giagu will join the Wherwell Singers for an Easter concert.
The recital of Mozart’s Vespers features the beautiful Laudate Dominum and the choir will also perform pieces by Tallis, Will Todd and Morten Lauridsen.
The group recently performed in Conflict to Chorus in Winchester Cathedral as one of five community choirs.
Tickets for the concert on Saturday at the Church of St Peter and the Holy Cross, Wherwell, are available online at wherwellsingers.org.uk.
