THE Isle of Arts Festival line-up is complete!
The four-day festival, which takes place in Ventnor on May 1-4, includes more than 50 events.
There is comedy, drama, literature, film, visual arts and music of all kinds, as well as street arts, an arts trail through the town, the popular affordable arts market and even a vintage, retro and upcycled fayre.
Comedy lovers can choose from up-and-coming stand-up, political satire, a show by comedy legend Barry Cryer or even a comedy ghost walk!
Drama is well represented too with Berkoff’s Women by Linda Marlowe, Mark Farrelly’s show about Quentin Crisp and a look at the making of Revolution! The Musical.
The wide range of music includes jazz, blues, classical, folk and pop in a variety of formats ranging from intimate gigs to major events in the newly-reopened Ventnor Winter Gardens.
Julian Lloyd Webber talks about his amazing career, local band Champs come home, blues sensation Mud Morganfield visits from the USA, and on the Monday Elio Pace and his band will swing the festival to a close with the Billy Joel Songbook.
This year, Isle of Arts is celebrating film stars born in 1915, which includes Orson Welles and Ingrid Bergman.

In addition, Gyles Brandreth, Robin Cousins and Eric Knowles talk about their careers and BBC Live presenter Mark Thompson explains the secrets of the universe.
Children will enjoy shows such as Little Howard, Curious Creatures and Stardust Academy, or storytelling, art sessions, ‘Do Stuff’ workshops and a sandcastle competition. All children’s events are either £5, £2 or free.
