IT IS the highest-grossing animated film of all time as fans refuse to let it go.

And with news that Walt Disney has announced plans to make a sequel – it seems the forecast is set for yet more winter weather ahead.

So to celebrate the hotly anticipated Frozen 2, the Daily Echo is launching its very own search for the best dressed Elsas and Annas in Hampshire.

The county already boasts one of the most convincing Elsa impersonators but we know there are hundreds more mini princesses out there ready to take to the spotlight.

As previously reported, Jade Armitage is making the most of her striking resemblance to the blonde heroine and has seen her business entertaining children at Frozenthemed parties boom in just six months.

The 32-year-old belts out the hit song Let It Go on a daily basis and has had requests for video messages from as far afield as America and Australia.

Since its release in November 2013, Oscar winning Frozen has become a juggernaut for Disney, making nearly £900m at the global box office and generating millions more through merchandise.

Daily Echo:

With such huge success, a sequel was always expected, but after months of speculation the news every Frozen fan had been waiting for was revealed – proving that dreams really do come true.

Walt Disney chief executive Bob Iger confirmed that directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will return for the sequel, while actress Kristen Bell, who is the voice of Anna tweeted her delight at the news.

But before that hits the big screen, the Daily Echo is giving you the chance to showcase your little princesses in our Frozen Idol competition and be in with a chance of winning a personalised message from Hampshire’s Elsa lookalike and a host of Frozen goodies.

All you need to do is send us photographs of your little Elsa’s and adorable Anna’s and then we will pick the very best, which will feature in a special spread for people to vote for their favourite Frozen princess.

Just email your photographs to emily.ford@dailyecho.co.uk, including your name, the name of the princess and their age, where they are from and a contact telephone number.
