DEVON-based duo Moriarty rock the south coast with their self-professed ‘filthy, dirty blues.’

This two-piece has uncut talent seeping from both ends. The tempo and energy of the music enveloped the audience and had them uncontrollably stomping and dancing in rhythmic bliss.

A sound which is often reminiscent of The White Stripes, Rage Against the Machine or The Royal Bloods, it’s the perfect balance of aggressive rock fused with catchy blues.

Although promoting their new album The Devil’s Child, Moriarty played their other much loved songs, including Esperanza – a song in which the riff sounds like something Tom Morello could have written and been proud of.

They finished off the night with their explosive cover of Bulls on Parade – one which not only does the original proud, but sounds incredible live.

The crowd were able to walk away happy and content after having some tight funk, hip-hop, blues and rock expertly delivered straight to their ears.

Moriarty are a band to look out for, and the Devil’s Child is available to purchase from iTunes now.
