A WORLD-famous bandleader and musician is bringing his rhythm and blues orchestra back to Hampshire with a pair of extra dates on his autumn tour.

Jools Holland will be bringing his boogie-woogie party to Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre and Portsmouth’s Guildhall accompanied by special guest acts Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson.

Tickets are on sale now for people to see the TV presenter and pianist perform well known songs from his solo career as well as new songs from his debut album Sirens Of Song.

Ska legends The Selecter’s Pauline and Gap will be joining Jools for the two dates in Hampshire (Saturday and Sunday, November 7 and 8) following their tour this month.

Still a milestone in British music history, the Coventry-based two-tone band will bring an exciting and unique aspect to the tour.

Other talented artists will appear with Jools including the power vocals of Ruby Turner, soulful tones of Louise Marshall, stunning sounds of Mabel Ray and original Squeeze member Gilson Lavis.
