FILM fans can quiz the director of what is set to be this year’s most controversial movie on Thursday, March 5.

British director Michael Winterbottom and producer Andre Eaton will introduce their latest film The Face of an Angel at Chichester Cinema before answering questions at a special preview.

Starring Daniel Brühl and Cara Delevingne, the film explores the circumstances surrounding Amanda Knox’s true-life story after she was charged with the murder of British co-student Meredith Kercher.

It is based on the book Angel Face by Barbie Latza Nadeau.

In a bid to avoid sensationalising the facts, London-based documentary maker Thomas (Daniel Brühl, previously seen as racing driver Niki Lauda in Rush), teams up with journalist Simone (Kate Beckinsale).

Instead, he is drawn into the conspiracy theories surrounding the murder and grows close to a young British woman (Cara Delevingne) living in the city, the movie emerging as a gripping study of the responsibilities of storytellers to the truth and to their subjects.
