Eastleigh born writer David Nicholls will be back in his home town tomorrow as part of a special anniversary celebration.

Eastleigh Library is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2015 and to mark the landmark is organising a series of special events including An Audience with David Nicholls at The Point.

David who attended Toynbee School and Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, before going to the University of Bristol, will give a talk ahead of the screening of the film adaptation of his best-selling novel One Day.

David will talk about screenwriting and his novels including his latest bestseller and Booker nominated novel, Us and will also be available for book signing.

The Audience with David Nicholls starts at 3pm followed by One Day at 4.30pm.

One Day follows the lives of two university friends Dexter and Em, who after spending the night together on the night of their college graduation are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives.
