IT'S the highlight of every music lover's calendar.
And now there is even more reason to get excited about this year's Isle of Wight Festival after another 18 bands have been announced.
It comes after the four-day event was named top UK festival and the fifth most popular festival in the world by online ticket sellers Viagogo.
The latest acts include Electronic music duo Groove Armada known for 'I See You Baby', music and fine art ensemble Chicks On Speed (below) and the next big thing in rock 'n' roll Pretty Vicious.
New and upcoming band Coasts, rockabilly siblings Ruen Brothers and Visconti & Woodmansey with Glenn Gregory will also entertain revellers during the weekend of June 11-14.
What's more, Ben Montague, Bethia Beadman, Claydon Connor, The Carnabys, Germein Sisters, Little Eye, Honey Ryder, The High Kings, King Eider, Pronghorn, the frontman of Starsailor James Walsh and Tim Arnold will all join acts on the Garden Stage.
They are the latest on an already exciting list of bands who will hit one of the event's 12 stages, including Fleetwood Mac, The Prodigy, The Black Keys and Paolo Nutini.
