TALENTED bands across Hampshire can compete for the chance to play at one of the UK’s best-loved festivals.

Entry to the Road to Blissfields 2015 competition has been launched and is on the look out for three acts to play at next year’s event.

There will be a heat at the Kings Theatre in Southsea on April 9, giving bands in the south a chance to compete.

There are also heats in Camden and Stoke-on- Trent, with one band from each going forward to play at the festival, which takes place on July 2 – 4.

Blissfields will also return to the King Charles pub in Winchester tonight for its Christmas party.

The evening will include live music from The Correspondents, One Step Too Late, Soul on Fire, Johnny Boxcars, BITR8, Nelly B Page, Z List DJs and Music Oxen.

Tickets are £7.
