HAMPSHIRE-based UK Shaolin Temple Productions will premiere its new and original stage show Wisdom of Shaolin for one night only at the Oasis Theatre, Lordshill, on Saturday.
Through jaw-dropping martial arts, music, dance and multimedia effects, the show entwines three stories: the fascinating life of Buddha, a look into the daily lives of monks in the Shaolin Temple, and a young man’s journey to enlightenment.
Audiences will be given a rare insight into Shaolin history, philosophy and life, while also sharing the celebration that marks UK Shaolin Temple’s tenth anniversary.
Wisdom of Shaolin is the brainchild of the 34th-generation Shaolin Warrior Monk, Master Shi Yanming, based in Southampton.
The show starts at 6.30pm.
