WHILE the rest of us may still feel we've only just had the chance to show off our summer wardrobes, designers at Phase Eight, which is about to open a new store in Winchester High Street, have already decided what we'll be wearing this autumn and winter.
As we've been thinking about buying our summer bikinis and kaftans, fashion-forward designers at the store have been sketching away, ready to wow us with their autumn/winter 07 collection.
The theme for winter at Phase Eight is a lot more dramatic, with the change in weather allowing for darker shades to take centre stage.
Elegant black dresses will be our staple wardrobe item and patterns in bronze and gold will add colour and excitement.
Metallics will be big news, working their way into Phase Eight's collection when it comes out.
But until then, the fashion store is still basking in the fun of summer fashion, embracing all things bright, floral and monochrome.
Phase Eight will open in Winchester High Street in the former Next building tomorrow (Friday).
