A NEW club is being launched for lovers of folk music in Winchester.
It aims to fill a gap in the market in the city, and will hold regular events in the refurbished upstairs bar of The Railway Inn at St Paul’s Hill, Winchester.
Martin Simpson, pictured, a winner at the BBC Radio 2 folk awards, will be taking the headline slot at the concert to launch the new group.
Support will come from Twyford-based Darren Black and the event starts at 8pm on Tuesday, June 8.
