OLD school dance act, Stereo MCs, have been revealed as the headliners for this year’s Blissfields Festival.
Organisers of the ever-popular shindig at Bradley near Alresford, Paul and Mel Bliss, were keeping the main act under wraps.
The decision was taken to release the name after all the tickets were sold.
And just like last year, the passes have all gone well in advance of the show itself, which runs from Friday, July 2 to Sunday, July 4.
As usual, there will be a packed line up featuring some of Hampshire’s top acts including Band of Skulls and Six Nation State.
Also look out for Polly and the Billets Doux, Ryan O’Reilly, and Chris TT who originally comes from Winchester.
As for the Stereo MCs, it will be one of the two visits they were due to make to central Hampshire this summer.
The group, best known for Step It Up and Connected, was also on the bill at the Glade Festival at Matterley Bowl near Winchester.
It was due to be held a fortnight after Blissfields, but organisers decided earlier this month (May) to cancel the event.
