THE Theatre Royal in Winchester is set to welcome all-male company, 2Faced Dance, on Tuesday, February 23.

The group will present its latest show, Still Breathing, which features elements of street dance, parkour and breakdancing.

The show is designed to have a wide appeal for both contemporary dance lovers and anyone who has an interest in urban-influenced culture.

It will feature UK breakdance champion, Robby Graham, and Johnny Autin, from France, the home of parkour, which is also known as free running.

Still Breathing is an hour-long piece, with no interval, and it explores the space we occupy with a looming set that gradually closes in as the performers climb higher to escape.

2Faced Dance was founded in 1999 by artistic director, Tamsin Fitzgerald, who won the Rayne Fellowship award for Choreography for the company’s previous show, State of Matter.

Still Breathing was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year and now audiences in Hampshire will have their chance to watch the spectacle.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets cost £13, with discounts available for concessions, theatre friends and school parties.
