ONE of Winchester’s most historic attractions is running a family exhibition this summer called Bugs Galore!
The city’s cathedral has teamed up with Marwell Wildlife, which runs Marwell Zoo, near Winchester, to organise the event.
The exhibition will highlight the conservation issues surrounding the six types of bugs that are currently munching their way through the cathedral.
Children will also have a chance to design their own “bug”, while parents will also be invited to write their own prose or a poem.
While entry charges to the cathedral still apply, the exhibition is free once inside.
It will be open from 9am to 5pm every day in August, apart from during special services.
For more details, telephone Winchester Cathedral on 01962 857200.
