Barnstorming finish to city’s stand-up season

THE final Barnstormers Comedy night in Winchester before the summer break takes place on Friday, June 19.

It will be held at the Discovery Centre, in Jewry Street, at 8.30pm, with compère, Dan Evans.

There is an eclectic bill of entertainment, featuring John Gordillo, pictured, who has been on the stand-up circuit for several years.

He has performed all over the UK and as far afield as Hong Kong and Thailand.

Another comedian, Geoff Whiting, will also be there. He has appeared on TV, radio, at the Edinburgh Festival and at comedy clubs all over Britain.

The line-up also features a double act in the shape of Brian Damage and Krystaal, pictured. The London-based duo combine music, deadpan comedy and silliness and they have appeared in Europe, South Africa and Australia.

Tickets are £10 in advance and can be bought at the Discovery Centre or www3. hants.gov.uk/wdc/whatson-wdc.htm or £12 on the night.
