A SINGER-songwriter and his six-piece band are set for the stage in Basingstoke as they recreate much-loved pop classics.
The Billy Joel Songbook will see massive hits including Uptown Girl, Just the Way You Are and My Life performed by Elio Pace and his band.
In September 2013, Elio was invited to ‘fill Billy Joel’s shoes’ starring in two very special reunion concerts in New York and Philadelphia with the original 1971-72 touring band. He said that is where the idea for the touring concert came from.
“I can't think of anything better than to go to work singing Billy Joel songs and coming home inspired to write more of my own,” he said.
