A DYNAMIC quartet with some added ‘ooh-la-la’ will step on stage in Andover next week.
Directed by grunge-folk godfather Wild Willy Barrett, Marie-Laure Hucher will take centre stage.
Already making waves in France, her vocals tackle everything from blues to bluegrass, with a hint of Piaf thrown in. Innovative arrangements are effortlessly performed on instruments including the guitar, cello, fiddle, banjo and uileann pipes.
Tickets for Wild Willy Barrett’s French Connection cost £10 in advance, £12 on the door. Call the box office on 01264 368368 to book, or go online at thelights.org.uk.
