FOLLOWING the release of his critically acclaimed album, Bill Laurance will stop off in Southampton as part of his UK tour.

He will be joined by a trio featuring members of the Grammy Award-winning Snarky Puppy – Michael League and Robert ‘Sput’ Searight with string quartet and French horn.

A number one album on the Jazz and iTunes Charts, Flint (released on Snarky Puppy’s own label) combines elements of jazz and classical with the trio of Bill Laurance on piano and keys, Michael League on bass and Robert ‘Sput’ Searight on drums, supplemented by strings and lush orchestration.

Between them the Bill Laurance Project members have worked with an extraordinary range of artists, ranging from Eryka Badu to Norah Jones and Morcheeba to Snoop Dogg.

With the London show at legendary venue Ronnie Scott’s already sold out, The Bill Laurance Project promises to be one of this autumn’s ‘must see’ musical events.

They play Southampton Turner Sims on October 10.

Tickets cost £18, £17 for concessions, and £9 for students.
