Now Major General Patrick Cordingley is heading to Romsey to give an illustrated talk in aid of the town’s War Horse memorial project.

Maj Gen Cordingley, who is patron of Romsey War Horse project, will be telling the moving story of remembrance and the town’s planned memorial to 120,000 horses that passed through Pauncefoot Hill Remount Camp on their way to the frontline in the Great War.

The talk is on Friday, October 3 at Romsey School at 7pm. Advance tickets cost £8 and £10 on the night.
