THERE should be plenty of laughs at a Hampshire pub next week.

Three comedians will be taking to the stage at the Mortimer Arms at Ower under the banner of the 'Official Comedy Club Hampshire' next Thursday (March 6).

They are host comedian James Redmond from the BBC comedy show Never Mind the Buzzcocks and ITV's Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Sean Mayo who has appeared on various TV shows including The Jack Docherty Show and Tarbuck Late Series 2, and comedian-actor Tim Clark who has appeared on TV and radio and is a regular at Comedy Club and Comedy Store venues.

Mortimer Arms owner Debbie Lewis said she was delighted to host such a prestigious show of talent. “We are the official venue for all forthcoming Comedy Club Hampshire shows during 2014 and have a full cast of comedians line up throughout the year.

Our newly refurbished function room is the idea venue for the Comedy Club and we are looking forward to a season of side splitting fun and laughter.”

Admission tickets for the show are £15 in advance and £20 on the night. Comedy Club members pay £12. For bookings and further information log on to or call 02380 814379.
