EVERYONE likes a 'good weekend' and now a festival with that exact name is coming to Hampshire.
It will be held at Vicarage Farm in Woodmancott, just off the A33 north of Winchester.
It follows on from the Woolfire Festival, which was first held at the same venue in 2005.
Further concerts followed, although the event was not held last year, having been put on ice in 2009.
Vicarage Farm is now set to welcome music fans once more with a new festival entitled Good Weekend.
Already confirmed for the first night is a takeover by Glasgow club night Mixed Bizness, featuring DJs Parker, Benny Boom and Hint.
The second day will feature rock band Hold Your Horse Is along with Swedish band, Pippa Marias.
Lulu and the Lampshades, JayetAl, Butterflies on Strings and Rinse FM's Monki are also on the bill.
More acts are due to be confirmed in the coming weeks and tickets for the weekend cost £40.
The event will be held on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 and more details are available at www.gdwknd.co.uk.
