THE Holloways will play Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms on Thursday, December 4.
The band’s first album So This Is Great Britain? got them a great deal of attention and for the second album, the boys, including singer, guitarist and fiddle player Rob Skipper, who went to Peter Symonds College in Winchester, went to Sawmills Studio.
Sawmills is the birthplace of classic albums from the likes of Supergrass, Muse and Oasis.
However, The Holloways record label TVT went bust, yet the boys pulled out all the stops to get the album finished and found a new label.
They have now completed a new EP and their second album Tales From the Tarmac will follow early next year.
