Having won the 2008 folk award for best album and best song, Martin Simpson is having a pretty good year.

Acknowledged as one of the finest finger and slide pickers of our time, he is no stranger to receiving awards, including a lifetime achievement award from Ards Guitar Festival and an Indie Award for his album Cool & Unusual.

He will be at Winchester Discovery Centre on Wednesday December 3.
