DONATIONS MADE TO SCHOOL
11:00pm Monday 19th November 2012
Miller Homes’ has recently donated some items to Sarisbury Infant School to help them with existing projects they are involved in and to help with the children’s safety.
“We have our Admirals Wood development at Sarisbury Green and have a very good relationship with the local infant school,” says John Taylor, Regional Sales Manager. “The children have taken part in various competitions we have organised and we are pleased to help them with these donations.”
The school has a building area for the children to use and Miller Homes has donated a series of ‘Health and Safety’ Boards to help the children understand some of the dangers concerned with an active building site. Feed the Birds Day has just been celebrated and two Bird Feeders with seed have been given to the school for use and last but not least, with the darker evenings now upon us, Miller Homes reflective armbands will help with the see and be seen message.
“We have a very strong outdoor learning curriculum so all these donations have been really useful and practical,” says Mandy Grayson, Deputy Head teacher. “In the New Year, one of our classes will be going to visit the Admirals Wood development which will be a great experience for them.”
Admirals Wood currently has 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes available ranging in price from £269,950 to £495,000.
On Saturday 1st December there is a chance to meet Father Christmas if you visit the development between 11am and 2pm.
“Any children who come and see us between those times in Christmas Fancy Dress will have a chance to win a book voucher,” added John. “I am also told Father Christmas will have something for all the younger visitors.”
The show homes and marketing suite at Admirals Wood are open daily from 10am to 5pm or telephone 0800 840 8770, email email@example.com. Alternatively visit the web site www.millerhomes.co.uk.
