HATS FOR HAITI: KINGS’ School in Winchester raised nearly £1,000 for the earthquake relief effort in Haiti.
Pupils and staff at the school, off Romsey Road, took part in a Hats for Haiti event to collect the cash.
Two pupils, Matthew McMaster and Amy Smith, went above and beyond the call of duty, raising £369.54 and £129.31 respectively.
Donations from elsewhere came to £442.58, making a grand total of £941.43.
