HAMPSHIRE Chamber of Commerce has been officially recognised as a champion of business practice.
It now holds the Buy With Confidence mark following a rigorous audit whicxh was carried out by the county council’s Trading Standards Service.
“The scheme offers assurance that a business is committed to trading honestly and fairly,” said the Hampshire Chamber’s director of operations, Maureen Frost.
“For buyers of business services, it’s a great way to source a responsible supplier.”
Hampshire’s voluntary scheme was set up by the county council in 1999 in response to concerns about rogue traders and it now has more than 550 members.
