WINCHESTER licensing chiefs have again frozen taxi fares in the district.
City councillors reviewed the Hackney carriage charges and have decided not to increase them, for the fifth year running.
It means the first 660 yards is still £2.80 with 20p each 170 yards.
The licensing and regulation committee agreed to review the charges in a year's time.
