A MAJOR Winchester supermarket has had to remove chilled goods because of the hot weather.
Aldi in Burnett Close have rescued all chilled stock because the hot weather has caused a failure in their chiller cabinet system.
However, the freezers at the store are still working.
Temperatures this week have reached as high as 30 degrees.
A picture taken by Harry Lawrence, shows a notice next to an empty fridge.
The notice reads: "We are currently expierencing a total failure of our chiller cabinet system due to the hot weather.
"As a result we have had to take all stock off site and no chilled stock is currently for sale.
"We hope to have this rectified as soon as engineers can attend.
"Apologies for any inconveniance caused."
