A WINCHESTER health food store has been battling to recover after months of flood disruption.

The Goodlife Centre in Headbourne Worthy opened its doors on Saturday (May 31) with a special taster-day in a bid to promote healthy produce and custom.

The business was left devastated after the floods closed many roads severely hitting trade.

But now they’re back on the road to recovery selling the best of Hampshire meats, cheeses, coffees, chocolates and a range of other healthy products.

“We have been hit by the floods really badly,” a spokeswoman said. “The road was closed at either end so we were pretty isolated which really affected the business.

“We decided to have the taster session to not only show people what’s on offer here but to encourage as many people in the door as we can. We had another one a couple of months ago which has helped but we’re not quite back on track just yet.”
