SOUTH coast law firm Blake Lapthorn, which has offices in Southampton, has won a fourth successive multimillion pound settlement for a client who was left severely disabled as a result of alleged negligent hospital treatment at birth.

The Royal Courts of Justice approved a settlement between Watford General Hospital and a seven-year-old boy to cover pain, suffering, loss of amenity, care, therapies, and equipment for his lifetime.
