STAFF at Lloyds TSB Commercial, Eastleigh, will be putting their best feet forward this weekend when they step out for a 70-mile walk around the Isle of Wight to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Four colleagues at the High Street bank, along with area director, Andy Tonkin, have set themselves a fund-raising target of £1,000.
The money that they raise will all go towards funding more British Heart Foundation specialist nurses to provide care and support to patients and families.
“We’re really looking forward to doing our bit to help BHF,” said Mark Price, at Lloyds TSB Commercial, Eastleigh.
Douglas Rouse, the charity’s head of corporate partnerships, added: “We are thrilled to have the support of staff at Lloyds TSB Commercial, Eastleigh, and events like this play an important role in helping to place more BHF heart nurses in the community.
“Last year, they helped more than 50,000 heart patients.”
