The southern division of Midas Construction, based in Hedge End, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Richard Ellis as operational director.
His appointment comes after Midas recently announced two major new schemes under way, with the start on site in March of the £30 million Cumberland House student residential scheme, in Southampton, and the exciting new £6.5 million River Works office development, in Guildford, which commenced in April.
Richard brings more than 28 years of experience in the industry including seven years in senior roles with Midas.
He returns to the company after eight years with Interserve, most recently as UK Operations Director for Regional Building.
Richard said: “It feels good to be back with Midas, especially so at a time of real opportunity for the Group and demonstrable success for its vision of building long term relationships through delivering excellent customer service and performance."
