A MANAGER at a Basingstoke housing association is in to the top ten of a national competition.
Ian Patterson, housing services manager, lettings, at Sovereign’s Basingstoke base is one of ten finalists in the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Rising Stars competition.
As part of the competition finalists were invited to write a blog which was published in Inside Housing magazine and last Friday they all had to take part in an hour long online Twitter chat.
Voting is currently open, but closes on Friday.
After this, the final five participants will be invited to take part in a round table with current housing association chief executives and local authority heads of housing to discuss the future of the sector.
