A PARTNERSHIP has led to a company taking on a new apprentice.
Freestyle IT and Basingstoke ITEC have been working together throughout 2017, to deliver apprenticeships and as one of the first companies in the region to take part in the new Level 3 digital marketer standard, Freestyle IT has taken on Paige Byrne, who has joined the team as an apprentice.
She said: “With previous customer service experience, I was keen to further develop my skills in a more professional environment. I’m really enjoying coming into the office, to smiley faces, who are more than happy to help me learn about the Company, how they work and about my role within the team. I look forward to building on my existing knowledge of digital marketing and learning different ways in which I can contribute to the growth of the business”.
Natasha Clement-Jones, marketing manager at Freestyle IT, said: “Having been impressed by the quality and breadth of the new digital marketing apprenticeship standard we worked with Basingstoke ITEC, which provided support and guidance, throughout the process of search and selection. We look forward to continuing our productive partnership throughout the apprenticeship training and assessment process.”
Paige joins James Ackland, who is completing his apprenticeship on the Freestyle IT Helpdesk.
