BASINGSTOKE'S MP has visited the new base of a businesses with 'exciting idea' for future developments.
Maria Miller visited architects Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt at the firm's new studio in Basing View.
The MP was given a tour of the new studio, and outlined the range of projects with which they are currently engaged, including residential and mixed use developments, schools and community buildings, and housing for later living.
Having moved from the Top of the Town to larger premises at Basing View, the company has benefitted from Basing View’s Enterprise Zone status in terms of business rate discounts.
Mrs Miller said: “I was delighted to meet David [Ayre] and Matthew [Chamberlain] at their new studio, and to hear about the fantastic range of creative work they are involved in. I was also interested to hear how they have grown from a garage start-up to now being a highly skilled 41 strong team, with their main studio in Basingstoke and a further studio in central London.
“Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt is another wonderful example of a Basingstoke-based business with huge talent, enthusiasm and ambition. They have exciting ideas for future developments and I will look forward to hearing how these progress.”
