A FORMER fish farm in Hampshire is up for sale.
Fenn Wright, specialists in water-related properties, is handling the sale of Tichborne Springs on the outskirts of Alresford.
Offers in excess of £300,000 are sought for the 6.6-acres property which the agents say "offers potential to be developed for personal enjoyment, fishing or other leisure pursuits including ‘glamping’".
Originally part of Itchen Valley Trout Farm, which closed earlier this year, Tichborne Springs consists of two artesian springs which includes three growing-on ponds and nine smaller rearing ponds.
There is a static caravan on the land and a planning application has been submitted for residential occupation.
The site also includes a number of buildings including a former hatchery, a workshop, a tractor shed and a storage building.
