SOUTHAMPTON law firm Bernard Chill & Axtell Solicitors has been highly commended for voluntary work at the Law Society Excellence Awards 2015.
BBC journalist Mishal Husain hosted the ceremony which was held at the Hilton Hotel Park Lane, London.
The finalists for the Law Society Excellence Awards 2015, selected by a panel of senior industry experts, reveal the breadth of talent throughout the profession in England and Wales, from small local practices and in-house teams, to large city firms.
The judges said that Bernard Chill & Axtell Solicitors undertakes a wide range of volunteering and pro bono activity, but what impressed the judges most was their ability to reach out to a community who might otherwise be alienated from the legal profession.
