A HAMPSHIRE leisure centre has appointed a new general manager.
Stuart Urquhart has taken the helm at Winchester’s River Park Leisure Centre after nine years at operator Places for People Leisure, formerly known as DC Leisure.
In 2012 Mr Urquhart opened the firm’s new base in Gosport, which received an ‘excellent’ rating from leisure quality surveyors Quest.
He said he was excited to work with the community and boost participation in physical activity.
