A WINCHESTER firm is celebrating a successful first year since its new management team took charge.

Adams Hendry Consulting, based in St Peter’s Street, has seen a steady increase in turnover, a new image and website over the last 12 months.

First established in the city in 1992, the firm has grown to 25 staff, including 19 town planners.

It is one of the largest independent town planning consultancies in the region.

Emma Barnett, Andy Blaxland and Philip Rowell completed a management buy-out from the former owners Mike Adams and Martin Hendry in 2013. Mr Blaxland said: “Having secured our independence in 2013 we are delighted with the success we have seen this year.

“Adams Hendry is passionate about the work it does for its clients, and looks forward with confidence for the future. Our new image and website reflect this, and we invite people to come and see how we can help deliver their projects.”

The company, which works closely with clients, local councils and communities alike, works on residential and commercial projects.
