A HAMPSHIRE law firm has come of age.

Bosses and staff at Graeme Quar & Co celebrated reaching the company’s 21st birthday.

And joining in the revellery was the firm’s first ever client.

The company - which has offices in Fareham and Petersfield – started life in 1994 from humble beginnings in a converted cowshed in Furzehall Farm.

Since then it has grown to become one of the region’s most respected firms for expertise in corporate law.

Last year it launched a Wills, Trusts and Probate service – seven years after moving to new offices in the Furzehall Farm estate in 2007.

Founder Mr Quar helped Robin Newbury acquire a lease on a workshop and office unit at the Fairway Business Centre in Portsmouth.

It allowed Mr Newbury to move his data cabling distribution business CSN out of his home.

CSN was eventually sold in 2002 before Mr Newbury who sought help from Mr Quar to set up his second company TECHknowledge based in Clanfield and specialising in IT and audiovisual equipment.
