A WINCHESTER business has celebrated its 20th year in business.

On Saturday (August 30) a joint celebration was held at Basepoint in Winnall Valley Park, and offices at Andover, Basingstoke and Camberley, with a community swap shop.

There was free food, face-painting, children crafts, swapping and entertainment from Eddie Vortex and the Cyclones.

Residents were encouraged to take along pre-loved books, clothes, toys, and furniture to swap with each other with all unclaimed pieces donated to Naomi House and St Michaels Hospice.

Lisa Rooney, centre manager at Basepoint Winchester, said: “There was something for everyone at the swap shop and we were lucky enough to get the last of the summer sun. We would like to thank the local community for their support and for donating items. The event was a success and a lot of people walked away with some real finds.”
