A SOUTHAMPTON pub is under new management.
The Gordon Arms in Portswood Road, which is owned by pub giant Enterprise Inns, will welcome Bobby Sohota as the new landlord.
The popular watering hole that has been in the heart of Portswood for decades was previously managed by brothers Christian and David Stoner, but Enterprise Inn's had been looking for a new owner to take the pub on.
Speaking to the Daily Echo, Christian said he was sad to say goodbye to the Gordon Arms.
He said: “We will miss all our regulars at the pub, we were a bit choked up when we said goodbye to everyone.”
“It has been a great year and a bit for us, but we are moving on and it is a dawn of a new era for the pub.
“We wish Bobby all the best, I absolutely love the pub and I hope he can have the place bursting with people.”
Mr Sohota will be taking on the Gordon Arms from today.
