A WINCHESTER letting agents has celebrated its 25th year in business by opening a new office in the heart of the city.
The team at Belgarum had grown out of its former work space at St Clement Street and have now relocated to a new area on the ground floor of Staple Gardens.
The move means the lettings and sales departments will be located closer together.
John Leeson, managing director of Belgarum, said: “We are constantly reinvesting into the business and our fantastic new office will enable us to grow as a company. The new office is an indication of the future for Belgarum and we already employ 20 staff. We have just recruited Becky Fisher in a promotional role as marketing manager and to coordinate our various sponsorships in the city.
“We now have the space and infrastructure to expand the business further, with an eye on land and new homes. We have recently succeeded with our first commercial let in the city.”
Belgarum is a high profile sponsor of local charities and annual events such as the annual Round Table Bonfire and Fireworks, which it has sponsored for the last 10 years. It is also the main sponsor at the Winchester Racquets and Fitness club.
Mark Williams, head of lettings, said: “This is such an uplifting environment to work in, with a very modern and light interior. We have had positive feedback from our clients too who appreciate the location and the smart environment.”
