A NEW interactive tour designed by a Winchester company is to be showcased in London.
Winchester-based Platform 4 has worked with the Alzheimer’s Society to produce Memory Points – a site-specific headphone walk aimed at people with early onset dementia. The tour, which has taken five years to produce, is going to form part of South Bank’s Festival of Love from August 7-18.
Catherine Church, Platform 4’s artistic director said: “We are thrilled that this special project which has brought the company such acclaim will now have a final flourish in one of the best places for seeing art of excellence in the world.”
The interactive performance will be shown in hidden spaces of Queen Elizabeth Hall and in the tunnels beneath the Royal Festival Hall. It will include installations, miniature sculptures, films and photographs.
