A WINCHESTER psychology graduate has been recruited to a local communications agency.

Rowena Spinks graduated last year with a first in psychology and has now been appointed as a junior executive with 360 intergrated PR.

Ms Spinks said: “I am excited to be joining the team at 360 integrated PR. This is a rapidly-evolving industry, and I look forward to the challenge of combining psychological theory with traditional PR practice.”

Philip Tutt, partner at 360 integrated PR, said: “Rowena represents a great example of the city retaining its own graduate talent, which was a key theme of the city council’s recent Cultural Capital conference.

“I am thrilled that we are able to respond so quickly to the call to provide opportunities for locally educated talent to thrive and, thereby, to foster the success of creative businesses and the cultural economy in the Winchester district.

“The popular image of PR is far removed from reality. The business of understanding, protecting and developing company reputations is a strategic management discipline, so the skills Rowena possesses will be in high demand across our profession.”
