ANVIL Arts – which runs The Anvil and The Haymarket in Basingstoke – hope their support for a Hampshire business will turn out to be a n-ice move for customers and business.

The venues now offer New Forest Ice Cream, which include a variety of flavours including Vanilla, Strawberry, Mint Choc, Toffee Crunch, Oriental Ginger, Chocolate, and Rum & Raisin flavours.

David Izzo, deputy head of operations at Anvil Arts, said: “We always try to provide the best possible pre-show and interval refreshments for our patrons.

“The new ice creams are going down really well and we are pleased to be supporting a Hampshire business too.”

New Forest Ice Cream director Christina Veal is delighted that the brand is now available in such prestigious venues.

She said: “Having the support of other businesses in Hampshire is crucial, and therefore we are delighted that Anvil Arts has chosen a Hampshire brand, above one with a national presence, to sell at The Anvil and The Haymarket.

“New Forest Ice Cream has a significant following of very loyal customers who actively search out the brand, and the fact that we can now market The Anvil and The Haymarket as a stockist will hopefully be of benefit to both our customers and to Anvil Arts.”

Founded in 1983 by Lawrie and Sue Jenman, New Forest Ice Cream remains a family-owned and run business, employing 45 people in Lymington.
