STAFF at leading corporate vehicle leasing company Alphabet are celebrating after the firm landed two industry awards.

The international multi-brand fleet management division of BMW Group, whose registered office is at Bartley Wood Business Park, in Hook, has been named Leasing and Fleet Management Company of the Year at the annual BusinessCar Awards.

Alphabet, which recently launched its AlphaElectric consultancy service, was also named overall Service Supplier of the Year at an awards ceremony.

Paul Barker, editor of the fortnightly BusinessCar magazine, said: “Alphabet’s success in the 2014 BusinessCar Awards is symptomatic of a company on the rise in the corporate vehicle marketplace. That upsurge has not gone unnoticed by the readers of BusinessCar, who decide on the winners of these awards.

“Alphabet is leading the way in terms of innovation from a large leasing company, with the launch and roll-out of services such as AlphaCity and AlphaElectric.

“But it is still getting the basics right too, in terms of customer service and quality.”

Alphabet chief executive officer Richard Schooling, said: “We’d like to thank all of the readers of BusinessCar who have voted for us in these prestigious awards.

“Being named both fleet management provider of the year and overall service supplier of the year is testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of the entire Alphabet team. I’m very proud of this achievement which shows that we are focusing on the right areas of the business and confirms that our vision for the future of mobility is winning the majority vote across the fleet sector.

“The future of car usage, and indeed business travel as a whole, is flexible, with people able to bring together an integrated mix of transport solutions to make moving from A to B as efficient as possible.

“We’re already seeing huge interest in services like AlphaCity and AlphaElectric, and these are only the first in a series of mobility products to be launched over the coming months.”

Operating in 19 countries, Alphabet runs a fleet of over 121,000 vehicles in the UK and more than 500,000 vehicles worldwide.
