A NEW business to Basingstoke that is an alternative to the Post Office is set to be officially opened by the Mayor on Friday.
Councillor Dan Putty will be doing the honours at Mail Boxes Etc, in Church Street.
Billed as a one-stop store for local businesses and residents, the franchise is owned and run by Jennie McAlinden-Liles.
Mail Boxes Etc provide a secure packaging and despatch of parcels service to destinations across the UK and abroad.
Also on offer are printing, document finishing, mailbox rental services.
Excited about her new store and being able to offer a wide variety of business and communications solutions to people in Basingstoke, Jennie said: “We believe there is a genuine need for all of our services – from packing and shipping to mailbox rental and printing.
“And there is plenty of scope in Basingstoke, particularly as our store is in a good position in the Top of The town.”
