COMPOSITE Metal Technologies (CMT) have firmly committed its business to Basingstoke by purchasing the freehold interest in its office premises at Prisma Park, in Wade Road.

Unit 3 on the park, comprising 2,100 sq ft, has been sold by Equity Estates to CMT for £270,000.

CMT first moved to Basingstoke in 2007, leasing Unit 3 together with an industrial unit at the rear of Prisma Park.

As a result of continued business growth and solid financial backing, the company expanded in 2012, taking an additional industrial unit and further office space bringing the total they occupy at Prisma Park to 7,150 sq ft.

CMT managing director Neil Collins, said: “Prisma Park has proved a good fit for our technology based engineering business and its good to see the estate filling up with like minded companies.

“We have always liked the relatively small but attractively designed self-contained buildings, coupled with the rare opportunity to buy the freehold.”

Equity Estates continue to be advised by Basingstoke agents, Baker Davidson Thomas and London Clancy, who between them have sold 12 freehold units and let two more on the park.
